He had been a successful retailer for more than ten years, but he was unable to withstand the constant allure of the restaurant industry. Early in the 1990s, Aureo decided to try his hand at being a restaurateur again, spurred on by his love of the food of his childhood in Mozambique and his Portuguese heritage.
