Additionally, we offer bowls of Cape Olives and a cheese board featuring four South African cheese producers that was created to pair with our wines. As soon as Kath in Auckland, New Zealand, grew weary of the corporate world, she enrolled at the University of Lincoln and finished a year-long Post Graduate Diploma in Viticulture and Oenology. She left New Zealand with her newly earned qualification in hand with the intention of travelling the world once more and learning everything there was to know about winemaking in all the great producing nations. Kath has experience working in a number of renowned South African wineries, such as Thelema and Flagstone. She relocated to Johannesburg in 2008 and established Gerakaris Family Wines, a marketing business that specialises in introducing upscale Cape wineries to the Johannesburg market.
