The 300-year-old Klein Roosboom delivers the most distinctive wine tasting experience the Durbanville wine route has to offer. It is conveniently located in the middle of the Durbanville Wine Valley, just 20 kilometres from Cape Town. Enjoy the views of our vineyards as you unwind with a glass of wine that has won numerous awards. The Jan Restaurant & Deli is situated adjacent to our vineyards and offers delectable farm-style fare on a daily chalkboard menu. All of our wine tasting caves were formerly used as wine fermentation tanks. Some still have the walls covered in enchanted, glittering tartaric acid layers, while others have lines that depict the previous wine levels. Our wines are given distinctive back labels that are written like letters to the family members for whom they are named. We think that conserving history improves the quality of life for next generations. We welcome you to live a little, have some fun, and create memories on the farm, whether it's at Jan Restaurant & Deli among the vines or unwinding inside a former concrete wine tank in the Wine Tasting Room.
