Jimmy Joannou, the company's original founder and a budding local entrepreneur, started a new business when he returned from Canada in 1967. Our ability to give our customers the brand of tyres that best meets their demands comes from the fact that we are a multi-brand firm. We are able to offer discounts to our consumers because of our huge buying power and lack of individual ownership of our franchise shop. Since our company's founding in 2004, Mercury Readers Choice has consistently ranked us as the top or second-best place to buy tyres in KZN thanks to these and other competitive advantages.
