As such my special interests lie in assisting adults who face significant stressors, families in divorce, sexual abuse allegations and children who are struggling in the classroom (social, emotional, and academic challenges, concessions/ accommodations). Communication with educators and other professionals is a crucial aspect of my work. In this way, the needs of the individual can be seen and met in a more comprehensive way. My practise also supports families going through divorce by offering a platform for objective psycho-legal evaluations (court-related matters) and mediation (Parenting Plans) with a focus on the best interests of the children. It has been a privilege to oversee intern psychologists for the past roughly 13 years.
