The company, which got its name from its original location in the Sandown Complex, began small and gradually grew to become one of the town's oldest operating businesses. The Company was able to purchase its own property in 2018 at 20 Goedehoop Street, directly across from the neighbourhood primary school, where it is still expanding and thriving today. The Pet Centre sells a wide range of exotic birds, from beautiful Macaws and Cockatoos to colourful finches! Along with outdoor Koi and Goldfish, it also keeps tropical and marine fish. A variety of non-venomous snakes are kept in the reptile section, along with bearded dragons, geckos, and other reptiles.
