I only owned dolls so I could create costumes for them and dress them up.
I made a lot of my clothing for school.
I was requested by friends to create costumes for them for formal events.
I chose to join in Bloemfontein Fashion Academy's two-year diploma programme in fashion design in 1995.
I could now bring my own inventions to life.
