Please note that The Soap Barn re-opens online and in store on 13 January 2022. This message from me is happy and also a little sad, more difficult to write than I anticipated. The news is that after 18 years of living, breathing, thinking, formulating, inventing, building and driving the business I started in 2004, the time has come for me to retire. I have completely devoted 1/3 of my life to this business and serving my customers, now I need to do some different things with my life. There are so many books to read, places to visit, things to learn and study and I am excited to be doing all those things now. Of course I will miss you all and saying good-bye to something I spent years building is not easy. However, without change we do not grow and I feel it's my time to grow in different ways now. The Soap Barn has a new owner now, my friend, Eric Slater, and I know you will always receive great service from him. He brings new energy, new ideas to the business and of course, the huge news is that he is re-opening the physical store. Please remember that we moved shop just before lockdown to NO 90 7th Avenue Edenvale. The new shop I built is gorgeous with lots of safe and secure parking.
