In 1992, Shofar Christian Church was founded in Stellenbosch, South Africa, by Fred and Lucille May.
Since that time, we have evolved from a small student fellowship to a global, multi-generational, multi-cultural church family with congregations in South Africa, Namibia, the UK, Burundi, and the Netherlands.
We have more than 50 churches, ranging from energetic, young congregations in urban areas to family-focused churches in rural communities.
